MandateDesign and layout of a retrospective publication showcasing the works from the second edition of the Bois Magique exhibition, along with accompanying texts.
Bois Magiqueis a non-profit organization based in Montreal, known for organizing inclusive exhibitions of semi-functional furniture pieces. For the second edition of the exhibition, a retrospective publication was created to present all the works featured, with an emphasis on both the visual presentation and the integration of written content.
The publication, entitled Imprint, provides an in-depth look at the exhibition, merging visual design with narrative elements to highlight the artistic and functional qualities of the featured pieces. The design balances clean, modern layouts with subtle details, ensuring that each work is represented with clarity and elegance, while also complementing the text. A "magique touch" was incorporated into the design, infusing the publication with unique, creative elements that reflect the spirit and philosophy of Bois Magique, enhancing the overall visual experience.
